The New Cards
Are you all excited about the new promo cards that will be released? In my opinion, yes, as they will add to your collection and deck power. Versatile and highly adaptable battle cards are good in hand and have the ability to win matches either smoothly or unexpectedly. Two new legends are coming to Splinterlands. Let's embrace the upcoming release of the new promo cards. Let's get ready because these two cards have the potential to alter the game's meta once more.
Elanor Bravefoot and the Sanctus Vicar were the first two cards to appear in the Hall of Legends!
Brief Story of Elanor Bravefoot
Elanor Bravefoot refused to give up, in contrast to most halfling refugees from Fireboro. Instead, she studied old books and discovered how to control the power of the brood fiends, which are chaotic incarnations of the elements that the wicked deity Uul had created.
Elanor's control over this dark energy was a deciding factor when Fireboro's uprising broke out, resulting in the city's freedom and her rise to glory as a national hero.
Consider being able to bring this card on the field with no mana at all to assist you make the most of your mana during the fight.
Elanor has the ability to be weary with a level 1 card, which indicates Weary troops have a 10% chance of feeling Exhausted at the end of each round. Next round, this likelihood rises by 10%, with a maximum of 80%. Units that are exhausted cannot retaliate and miss their turn.
New Skill : Blasphemy of Uul
For any ally card in the Chaos Legion set that has 0 mana, you will always gain +1 ranged power.
Another Tips
When you combine this little halfling with two Chaos Legion fiends and a dual-element summoner, It can deliver four ranged attacks without using any mana points from you.
Sanctus Vicar Short Story
When the Feranonians rebelled against the Chaos Empire, Sanctus Vicar Logan Rockford, the top priest of the Church of Gryyja, Goddess of Protection, accompanied them. The rebellion would never have started if it didn't happen for him.
He poured great effort to rid the rebels of the curses that the legion's sorcerers and impious priests had bestowed upon them. He was the one who kept them engaged in battle, throwing massive gouts of fire at the surrounding legionnaires while also protecting his companions.
This card costs six mana and has a cleansed rearguard, which allows it to remove any violent buffs like toxic fumes that are only applied to allies in the back position of your unit.
New Ability: Cleanse Rearguard
Purpose: Cleanses the last allied backline unit with a magic debuff.
If you struggle to play toxic fumes, this ability can help you position your greatest card on the final line of defense. It is also an excellent opportunity and an advantage for anybody who had Sanctus Vicar on their deck. What an astounding skills, in short.
