Hey Splinterlands fans and everyone else!

Today I want to show you the drawing I did for Splinterlands Art Contest Week 284. This time, it seems like I've already drawn this girl before, although it was last year. The character has been around for quite some time, actually, it came from The Alpha and Beta if I'm not mistaken, I've already drawn it three times. A long time ago, I did it in colored pencils and paper, well, I didn't like it that time, but the second time was more decent.

This time I wanted to do something different. But well, it was a bit chaotic to do it because with so many power outages and interruptions, it's complicated. I think I almost didn't finish it this time, but oh well...

I've been continuing to work in Photoshop because I've kind of resigned myself to using Corel Painter. It's not convenient for me to be constantly checking on the work, but oh well. I haven't made a video for this one, and to be honest, I don't like losing the format I'm always doing lately. I always lose the videos, so I have to recover them, and I lose a lot of hours in that process. So, I decided not to make a video for this one either. I've left some images of the process as well, and also a bit of the backstory of this character, which is a bit below.

The Angel of Light protects and guides her Khymian children. The Angel is the only person in the Splinterlands that can resurrect the dead. Many worship the Angel of Light as a Goddess, even though this is forbidden by the Silver Shield. These heretics are called Angelists.

I don't know, for the first step, what I did was... well, I think lately I've been starting like this, and honestly, I find it fun. Just a blotch and shaping it a bit to fix and detail, what comes out without pressure, nothing too perfect.

As I progressed, what I was doing was detailing a bit more, improving some things that I hadn't done before, and having a better shape for the position, the girl, and it was starting to look a bit better in terms of the person's volume.

When I started, I didn't really focus much on the head, I just made a blotch and that was it. But even though she didn't have hair, I was going to add hair. I also hadn't done much on the wings, I had just placed the idea of where the wings would go, but I hadn't worked on that. I was really focusing on the body to detail a bit and improve things to make them look more real. I really like the combination.

I hadn't done anything to the head and hair, wasn't gonna leave it like that, after doing the wings and being happy with it, I set out to improve the facial features and also to take it to the hair salon for a hairstyle, did a couple of strands and several hair threads to add some volume to this.

I left the clothes for practically at the end, and it's because, like I said, I've been focused on what the body was and the other things to finally dress her. It's not like I wanted to cover her completely, but with that, I would get an idea of what the dress design would be, and of course, there were still a few more little things left to finish.
