Saludos queridos amigos!

Hoy una vez más presento mi entrada al concurso de Splinterlands y esta vez decidí hacer algo divertido, un corto gif del personaje de esta semana, la carta que he elegido se llama Ancient Lich no tenía idea de la historia que podría guardar esta carta y fue mucho más oscura de lo que pensé razón por la cual me gusto mucho más, les contaré un poco de el y mostraré un poco del proceso de creación de esta ilustración, espero que sea de su agrado.

Today once again I present my entry to the Splinterlands contest and this time I decided to do something fun, a short gif of this week's character, the card I have chosen is called Ancient Lich I had no idea of the story that could keep this card and it was much darker than I thought which is why I like it much more, I will tell you a little about him and show a little of the process of creating this illustration, I hope you like it.

El lore de este personaje relata la vida de un rey obsesionado con coleccionar la mayor cantidad de objetos que puedo obtener de sus victorias en el campo de batalla, armas, objetos cotidianos y armas, este pasatiempo lo llevó a ser conocido como Kiro el coleccionista, pero al envejecer comenzó a sentirse abrumado por dejar su tesoro sin protección, en algún momento uno de sus ayudante que era un hechicero oscuro comienza a invadirnos con ideas oscuras y en el lecho de su muerte conjura un oscuro maleficio.

The lore of this character tells the life of a king obsessed with collecting as many objects I can get from their victories on the battlefield, weapons, everyday objects and weapons, this hobby led him to be known as Kiro the collector, but as he grew older he began to feel overwhelmed by leaving his treasure unprotected, at some point one of his assistant who was a dark sorcerer begins to invade us with dark ideas and on his deathbed conjures a dark spell.

Luego de su fallecimiento es quemado en una pira, pero luego que su piel comenzó a quemarse sus huesos crujieron y el se levantó en medio de las llamas y se sintió poderoso por superar a la muerte y feliz por tener más vida para cuidar su tesoro, lastimosamente luego de miles de años, la inmortalidad luego le termino pesando grandemente y deambula por los páramos solamente con su magia.

Para hacer este dibujo solo tuve como referencia la ilustración de la carta, pero quise darle un toque mas realista así que tome solo un fragmento de la ilustración original

To make this drawing I only had as reference the illustration of the letter, but I wanted to give it a more realistic touch, so I took only a fragment of the original illustration.

Para este personaje decidí enfocarme en esta ilustración principalmente en su rostro triste, iracundo y desgastado por los años, con algunos trozos de piel que ya parecen un pergamino viejo, unos dientes puntiagudos y debajo de las puertas oscuras de sus ojos sus iris verdes resplandecientes.

For this character I decided to focus in this illustration mainly on his sad, angry and weathered face, with some pieces of skin that already look like old parchment, some sharp teeth and under the dark doors of his eyes his green irises glowing.

Para la pose elegí la misma que se muestra en la carta, con su brazo derecho empuñando un cetro, con una gran joya en la parte superior, la cual desprende una luz con la cual es capaz de percibir a unos seres fantasmales que flotan en el es espacio.

For the pose I chose the same one shown on the card, with his right arm holding a scepter, with a large jewel on top, which gives off a light with which he is able to perceive some ghostly beings floating in space.

Creo que esta ilustración tomo el rumbo que quería una vez que termine de dibujar los fantasmas alrededor del Lich, me gusto mucho el efecto que estos le aportaron a toda la composición, me gusto mucho trabajar en esta carta y estoy muy contenta con el resultado final, espero que también haya sido de su agrado!

I think this illustration took the direction I wanted once I finished drawing the ghosts around the Lich, I really liked the effect they brought to the whole composition, I really enjoyed working on this card and I am very happy with the final result, I hope you liked it too!
