Avina The Wolf - Splinterlands Art Contest 312

Saludos queridos amigos de Splinterlands!

Feliz fin de semana! el día de hoy presento mi entrada para el concurso de Splinterlands en su ronda 312 para esta oportunidad dibuje el personaje llamado Avina Galalaine, mejor conocida por su apodo Avina de Wolf quien es parte de la Orden del Escudo plateado de Nuevo Amanecer, es una estratega y guerrera con tácticas acertadas en el campo de batalla, ganándose el respeto de todos, me gusto mucho este personaje y su lore, pero además de su fuerza quería destacar su belleza, así que espero que les guste mi versión de este personaje.

Happy weekend! today I present my entry for the Splinterlands contest in its round 312 for this opportunity I drew the character called Avina Galalaine, better known by her nickname [Avina de Wolf](https://next.splinterlands.com/card-detail/644/regular/12/? tab=lore) who is part of the Order of the Silver Shield of New Dawn, she is a strategist and warrior with successful tactics in the battlefield, earning the respect of all, I really liked this character and her lore, but besides her strength I wanted to highlight her beauty, so I hope you like my version of this character.

Para comenzar, decidí hacer un par de bocetos tradicionales, sobre todo porque la armadura representaba un poco un reto para mi, además que estaría dibujando el un estilo diferente, así que después de dibujar la figura comencé a añadir los elementos de su traje, me gusto mucho su capa hecha de un lobo, como yo quería algo más infantil y tierno dibuje una linda cara para este lobito.

Luego pase este dibujo a digital haciendo las mejoras necesarias y agrandó todos los detalles del personaje, para proceder luego a colocar los colores base de mi ilustración, para la mayoría tome los colores presentes en el arte original, pero este esta representado cono una figura un poco a contra luz, así que termine modificando un poco su saturación.

To begin, I decided to make a couple of traditional sketches, especially because the armor represented a bit of a challenge for me, plus I would be drawing in a different style, so after drawing the figure I began to add the elements of his costume, I really liked his cape made of a wolf, as I wanted something more childish and tender I drew a cute face for this little wolf.

Then I passed this drawing to digital making the necessary improvements and enlarged all the details of the character, to proceed then to place the base colors of my illustration, for most I took the colors present in the original art, but this is represented with a figure a little against the light, so I ended up modifying a little its saturation.

A continuación procedí a hacer el coloreado, eligiendo un punto de luz desde la parte derecha ubicada en un punto medio de la imagen añadí algunas luces en el rostro proyectadas desde el frente, y luego añadí también las sombras, el cabello ondulante de Avina proyecta también algunas sombras sobre su rostro.
Asi mismo añadí las luces de su armadura añadiendo las zonas mas luminosas desde el lado derecho, para esta parte agregue un poco mas de contrastes en los tonos para hacer lucir las piezas brillantes.

Me divertí mucho coloreando al lobo, no apoyo mucho el uso de prendas de piel de animal, pero este pequeño lobo parece estar vivo sobre el hombro de Avina, quizás merezca una nueva versión al lado de su lobo.

Next I proceeded to make the coloring, choosing a point of light from the right side located in a middle point of the image I added some lights on the face projected from the front, and then I also added the shadows, Avina's wavy hair also projects some shadows on her face.
I also added the lights on her armor adding the brighter areas from the right side, for this part I added a little more contrasts in the tones to make the pieces look shiny.

I had a lot of fun coloring the wolf, I don't really support the use of animal fur garments, but this little wolf seems to be alive on Avina's shoulder, maybe it deserves a new version next to her wolf.

Por ultimo fue turno del paisaje, este detalle no se mostraba tan claro desde el principio mas que como una idea general, un prado con algo de vegetación y rocas. Me dedique en primer lugar a detallar la zona del suelo, dibujando una hierva algo irregular y conserve la idea original de un par de rocas rodeadas de vegetación, dibuja cada sector de vegetación por separado, para crear un par de capas de profundidad en la imagen, y como fresa sobre el pastel, algunas florecedoras silvestres.

Finally it was the turn of the landscape, this detail was not so clear from the beginning but as a general idea, a meadow with some vegetation and rocks. I dedicated myself first to detail the ground area, drawing a somewhat irregular grass and kept the original idea of a couple of rocks surrounded by vegetation, drawing each sector of vegetation separately, to create a couple of layers of depth in the image, and as a strawberry on top of the cake, some wild flowering plants.

Y esta ha sido mi ilustración de esta semana para Splinterlands, ame todo el proceso y el resultado, en especial la expresión de su cara que parece algo vacía, pero determinada a acabar con lo que sea que sea su oponente en ese momento, espero que también sea de su agrado.

And this has been my illustration this week for Splinterlands, love the whole process and the result, especially the expression on his face that looks a bit empty, but determined to finish whatever his opponent is at that moment, I hope it is also to your liking.
