Enchanted Pixie - Splinterlands Art Contest 294

Saludos queridos amigos de Splinterlands!
Ha sido un buen tiempo desde que participe en el concurso de Splinterlands, han pasado cosas y mi cabeza no estaba preparada para dibujar, pero he estado poco a poco recuperándome y en esta oportunidad decidí dibujar a Enchanted Pixie en realidad he tratado de dibujarla en varias ocasiones antes, pero nunca lograba capturar la belleza de esta carta y terminaba descartando todo, esta vez opte por un estilo diferente y me encantó, espero que también sea de su agrado y me acompañen en este proceso.

Greetings dear friends of Splinterlands!
It's been a while since I participated in the Splinterlands contest, things have happened and my head wasn't ready to draw, but I've been slowly recovering and this time I decided to draw Enchanted Pixie actually I have tried to draw her on several occasions before, but I never managed to capture the beauty of this card and ended up discarding everything, this time I opted for a different style and I loved it, I hope you also like it and you join me in this process.

Como lo mencione en esta oportunidad decidí cambiar un poco el estilo que normalmente uso para las ilustraciones de este concurso y probé algo mas tierno con un estilo chibi, al que luego fui añadiendo las características de Enchanted Pixie, una falda hecha de hojas y también la parte superior, aunque yo modifique un poco la forma de las hojas he improvise algo parecido a un sujetador.

Luego procedí a colocar los colores de base, para esto tome de referencia los colores originales de la carta del personaje, pero no coloree de inmediato las alas ya que quería un efecto diferente y traslucidos para ellas.

As I mentioned in this opportunity I decided to change a little the style I normally use for the illustrations of this contest and I tried something more tender with a chibi style, to which then I added the characteristics of Enchanted Pixie, a skirt made of leaves and also the upper part, although I modified a little the shape of the leaves and improvised something similar to a bra.

Then I proceeded to place the base colors, for this I took as reference the original colors of the character's card, but I didn't color the wings immediately because I wanted a different and translucent effect for them.

Comencé con el coloreado de la piel, para lo cual use un pincel de aerografía para colocar un todo rosado en sus mejillas, hombros, manos, rodillas y pies; para luego emplear un pincel de trazo duro para dibujar las sombras, las cuales coloque del lado izquierdo considerando que el foco de luz provendría del lado contrario.
A continuación procedí a definir su cabello, en primer lugar definí los mechones de cabello y la dirección del mismo y luego mezclando pincel con efecto de aerografía y el pincel duro genere el brillo del cabello

I started with the coloring of the skin, for which I used an airbrush to place an all pink on her cheeks, shoulders, hands, knees and feet; then I used a hard brush to draw the shadows, which I placed on the left side considering that the focus of light would come from the opposite side.
Then I proceeded to define her hair, first I defined the locks of hair and the direction of it and then mixing the airbrush effect brush and the hard brush to generate the shine of the hair.

Lo siguiente fue definir su mirada, en esta parte estaba muy nerviosa, pues es muy importante para mil lograr una mirada que realmente transmita algo de vida y era en especial este detalle el que me hizo descartar los demás intentos, pero a pesar de mi inseguridad creo que logre generar una mirada bastante intensa y me gusto mucho su brillo.
Luego procedí a definir su vestuario, comencé definiendo las hojas de su falta y colocando algunas sombras en los lugares indicados por la pose y el origen de la luz

Next was to define her look, in this part I was very nervous, because it is very important for me to achieve a look that really transmits some life and it was especially this detail that made me discard the other attempts, but despite my insecurity I think I managed to generate a pretty intense look and I really liked its brightness.
Then I proceeded to define her wardrobe, I started by defining the leaves of her foul and placing some shadows in the places indicated by the pose and the origin of the light.

Por ultimo procedí a dibujar el fondo, antes de comenzar a colorear sus alas, pues como les dije quería un efecto translucido, así que necesitaba de un fondo para poder editar este detalle, ya la había dibujado sobre una pequeña roca, así que solo debía definir el resto del espacio, que consistiría en una pequeña pradera con vegetación a los lados con rayos de sol que se translucen de entre los plantas mas altas e iluminan alguna zonas mas que otras.
Para el efecto de las alitas use una capa con el filtro de iluminar sobre una capa con la opacidad disminuida y ese ha sido todo el proceso de elaboración de este ilustración, a mi me ha gustado mucho, que les parece a ustedes?

Finally I proceeded to draw the background, before starting to color the wings, because as I said I wanted a translucent effect, so I needed a background to edit this detail, I had already drawn it on a small rock, so I just had to define the rest of the space, which would consist of a small meadow with vegetation on the sides with sunbeams that are translucent between the higher plants and illuminate some areas more than others.
For the effect of the wings I used a layer with the illuminate filter on a layer with the opacity decreased and that was the whole process of elaboration of this illustration, I liked it a lot, what do you think?
