Ice Pixie - Splinterlands Art Contest 280

Saludos queridos amigos de la comunidad!

El dia de hoy quiero presentar mi entrada al concurso de arte de Splinterlands esta vez en su ronda 280 para esta semana elegí dibujar a Ice Pixie un hada originaria del hielo porveniente del Infierno congelado de Azmare cuando las temperaturas han ido aumentado progresivamente estas han podido escapar para crear un desastre a su paso a velocidades increíbles.

Today I want to present my entry to the Splinterlands art contest this time in its round 280 for this week I chose to draw Ice Pixie a fairy originating from the ice coming from the frozen Hell of Azmare when the temperatures have been increasing progressively these have been able to escape to create a disaster in their path at incredible speeds.

Para empezar este dibujo quería una pose bastante divertida y que pareciera que se encontrará suspendida en el aire, lo cual fue bastante difícil debo decir, pero logré hace un boceto con el cual me sentí contenta, hubieron un par de detalles que no terminaban de gustarme uno de ellos era la forma de alas asi que las cambie y dibuje en su lugar unas más parecidas a copos de nieve, luego la parte baja de su traje, la que esta una especia de cola la realicé como una tela translúcida.

To start this drawing I wanted a quite funny pose and it seemed that she was suspended in the air, which was quite difficult I must say, but I managed to make a sketch with which I was happy, there were a couple of details that I did not like one of them was the shape of wings so I changed them and drew instead some more like snowflakes, then the lower part of her suit, which is a kind of tail I made it as a translucent fabric

A continuación coloqué la base de color, para ello use como referencia los colores presentes en el arte original, a excepción de los elementos modificados por mi para este personaje. Coloque cada uno de los colores en una capa diferente para luego colorear mucho mas comodamente.

Next I placed the color base, for this I used as reference the colors present in the original art, except for the elements modified by me for this character. I placed each one of the colors in a different layer for later coloring much more comfortably.

Admito que tuve más de un tropiezo con esta paleta de colores, mi concentración estaba algo fugaz y tuve que empezar en mas de una ocasión de nuevo, modificando en este punto varios detalles en la expresión de su rostro.

I admit that I had more than one stumble with this color palette, my concentration was somewhat fleeting and I had to start over on more than one occasion, modifying at this point several details in the expression of his face.

Cuando combine lo mejor posible los tonos en su piel, comencé a colorear el resto de la ilustración, usando tonos más claros de azul para delimitar las zonas más luminosas de su vestuarios, agregue luces y brillos en sus alas y en las joyas de su vestuario y estuvo lista esta ilustración.

Once I had matched the tones on her skin as best I could, I began to color the rest of the illustration, using lighter shades of blue to delimit the brighter areas of her costume, added lights and sparkles on her wings and on the jewels of her costume, and this illustration was ready.

La verdad no estoy del todo contenta con este resultado, pero es un ejercicio y me autoconvencí que todo trabajo tiene su valor, esta hadita sigue siendo un reto que quiero plantearme pronto en el futuro y hacer más justicia a su imagen!

The truth is I'm not entirely happy with this result, but it's an exercise and I convinced myself that all work has its value, this little fairy is still a challenge that I want to set myself soon in the future and do more justice to her image!
