Runeseer Sevaya - Splinterlands Art Contest

Saludos queridos amigos de Splinterlands!

Feliz fin de semana para todos! Esta semana se me hizo algo tarde, pero aquí esta mi participación para el concurso de Splinterlands de esta semana, para esta oportunidad he elegido la carta llamada Runeseer Sevaya es una carta que llamó mucho mi atención, me gusta mucho, este personaje resulta ser una runemancer y clarividente que se encarga de salvar a los sobrevivientes en batalla y fortalecernos para las siguientes batallas.

Happy weekend to all of you! This week I was a bit late, but here is my participation for this week's Splinterlands contest, for this opportunity I have chosen the card called Runeseer Sevaya is a card that caught my attention, I like it a lot, this character happens to be a runemancer and clairvoyant that is in charge of saving the survivors in battle and strengthen us for the next battles.

Al parecer con su poder de clarividente ha logrado ver infinidad de futuros, en su mayoría catastróficos, pero solo unos pocos le dan la ansiada victoria, es por ello que ella se encarga de guiar a los magos y sus tropas en el camino correcto.

Para hacer la ilustración de Sevaya comencé por las lineas, llevando su báculo de dragón, como obviamente es un personaje muy poderosa la imagine levitando abriendo su tercer ojos y mirando el futuro. Luego procedí a colocar la base de color, para ello tome directamente los colores del arte original.

Apparently with her clairvoyant power she has managed to see countless futures, most of them catastrophic, but only a few give her the desired victory, that is why she is in charge of guiding the wizards and their troops on the right path.

To make the illustration of Sevaya I started with the lines, carrying her dragon staff, as she is obviously a very powerful character I imagined her levitating, opening her third eyes and looking into the future. Then I proceeded to place the colour base, for this I took directly the colours of the original artwork.

Luego añadí las luces y sombras para crear algo de volumen en la figura, el foco de luz lo ubiqué desde el lado derecho superior, comencé coloreando la cara añadiendo la sombra que su sombrero proyectar sobre su frente y por último las luces reflejo en la parte izquierda de la figura.
Para el báculo use básicamente el mismo tono gris, con más o menos luz y saturación.

Then I added the lights and shadows to create some volume in the figure, I placed the spotlight from the upper right side, I started colouring the face adding the shadow that his hat cast on his forehead and finally the reflection lights on the left side of the figure.
For the crozier I used basically the same grey tone, with more or less light and saturation.

Por ultimo procedí a colorear el paisaje, realmente quería algo sencillo tranquilo, mi boceto inicial comprendía una pradera con algunos riscos a la distancia y unos árboles de pino bañados por la luz del sol con un cielo con algunas nubes tranquilas.

Finally I proceeded to colour the landscape, I really wanted something simple and tranquil, my initial sketch comprised a meadow with some cliffs in the distance and some pine trees bathed in sunlight with a sky with some quiet clouds.

Y este es resultado de mi ilustración de esta semana, me gusto mucho como quedo todo el vestuario de este personaje y como se mueve serenamente por el cielo, espero que también haya sido del agrado de todos!

And this is the result of my illustration of this week, I liked very much how the costumes of this character and how he moves serenely through the sky, I hope you all liked it too!
