Saludos amigos de Splinterlands!

Hoy me complace mucho presentar una nueva ilustración para el concurso de Splinterlands en su ronda numero 300 para esta oportunidad elegí dibujar un retrato, aunque aún no decidía cual exactamente, al explorar me pareció muy interesante Wizard of Eastwood y aunque también quería hacer una versión con su báculo y todo, termine eligiendo este personaje para mi retrato, les mostraré un poco del proceso espero sea de su agrado.

Greetings Splinterlands friends!

Today I am very pleased to present a new illustration for the Splinterlands contest in its round number 300 for this opportunity I chose to draw a portrait, although I still didn't decide which one exactly, when exploring I found it very interesting Wizard of Eastwood and although I also wanted to make a version with his staff and everything, I ended up choosing this character for my portrait, I will show you a little of the process I hope you like it.

Lo primero obviamente era realizar el dibujo, quería algo muy detallado con pliegues en sus párpados se trata de un hechicero muy poderos y experimentado que ha pasado buena parte de su vida de ermitaño y ahora es un gran maestro, la sabiduría debe ser visible en su rostro.
Luego procedí a dibujar los elementos más distintivos de su personaje como su sombrero puntiagudo y sus lentes redondos.

The first thing obviously was to make the drawing, I wanted something very detailed with creases in his eyelids, this is a very powerful and experienced sorcerer who has spent much of his life as a hermit and is now a great teacher, wisdom should be visible in his face.
I then proceeded to draw the most distinctive elements of his character such as his pointed hat and round glasses.

Lo siguiente fue aplicar el color comencé colocando una capa base de cada color, para esto use varias capas para hacer todo el procedimiento más sencillo, lo primero que comencé a colorear fue el rostro, usen en primer lugar el aerografo y coloree la parte media con todos rojo, su frente con tonos sepias y algo de verde en la parte inferior de su rostro y a continuación procedí a pintar los detalles en el rostro del hechicero.

The next thing was to apply the color I started by placing a base layer of each color, for this I used several layers to make the whole procedure easier, the first thing I started to color was the face, first use the airbrush and color the middle part with all red, his forehead with sepia tones and some green in the lower part of his face and then I proceeded to paint the details on the face of the wizard.

Luego que tuve un poco definido el rostro comencé a ocultar la capa de dibujo y comencé a definir esta vez solo con color los rasgos de su cara,use en primer lugar los tonos medios y bajos y en una capa superior añadí los tonos altos y los brillos.

En una capa superior comencé entonces a trabajar sobre su barba, haciendo cortos y enmarañados trazos en diferentes tonos del verde que había elegido para su barba logré dar algo de volumen a la melena.

After I had the face a little bit defined I started to hide the drawing layer and started to define this time only with color the features of his face, I used first the medium and low tones and in a top layer I added the high tones and the glows.

In a top layer I then started to work on his beard, making short and tangled strokes in different shades of the green I had chosen for his beard I managed to give some volume to the mane.

A continuación procedí a colorear su sombrero el cual me parece un interesante esta hecho de dos tipos de tela y el final de su punta está compuesta de una rama con algunas pequeñas hojas en su punta algunas de estas ramas también están presentes en el resto del sombrero, para su manto elegí igual los colores del dibujo original, pero los oscurecí un poco y decidí también dibujar un pequeño estampado de hojas en su manto.

Then I proceeded to color her hat which I find interesting is made of two types of fabric and the end of its tip is composed of a branch with some small leaves on its tip some of these branches are also present in the rest of the hat, for her mantle I chose the same colors of the original drawing, but I darkened them a little and decided to also draw a small leaf pattern on her mantle.

Y para finalizar esta ilustración, dibujar un fondo relacionado con algunos troncos de árbol a sus lados y mucha vegetación algo borrosa al fondo.
