Let's Take A Look At ReLife

(Edited)

ReLife is one of those series that is hard to tell which is better between the Manga and the Anime series. If I am honest, I actually can't decide. They were both pretty damn amazing and kept the same feeling for me through both adaptations.

I did read the Manga first and from start to finish it is brilliant. How they translated it on to the screen was perfection as well. Sadly though, it is a series I would love to read and watch again without knowing what happens. There are parts that did get me right in the feels, and being the big macho man that I am (lies) it actually made me feel for the characters. I felt their pain and disappointments, but also when things went well I genuinely felt happy for them. Which is something that rarely ever happens to me!

The story starts with Arata Kaizaki, the 27 year old who is bouncing around between jobs after quitting his first proper job. The responsibilites of being an adult, the nasty and ugly side of corporate life and the sheer harshness of life, really took it's toll on Arata.

One night while returning home from his part time job, Arata is approached by Ryou Yoake, a member of the ReLife Research Institue. Ryou offers Arata a once in a lifetime opportunity, the chance to go back and change his life for the better. All he has to do is take the mysterious pill that this complete stranger is offering him!

Arata awakens the next day to find that he has changed back into a 17 year old!
Along with this fun discovery, Arata finds that he is now part of an experiment and must pass high school all over again as a transfer student for one year.
He believes that this will be the easiest thing ever, but he soon finds out just how much has changed in the 10 years since he was last in high school.

I have heard many times mention the name of this anime, I love this kind of stories, with tears included better even if it sounds masochistic haha it means that the story is emotional and funny at the same time ❤️

ReLife is a series that really touches the heart and it's hard to decide which adaptation is better. The way they manage to capture the emotions of the characters is just awesome. I loved it, it made me feel so many things and that's what I value most in an anime, it's definitely a gem that deserves to be seen! ❤️

How great that both anime and manga maintain their quality and manage to transmit in both formats. I did not know this anime and it is super interesting, because it certainly raises deep life dilemmas that generate surprise factors worthy of analysis.

I'll put it on my to-watch list, thank you very much for sharing your experience 🤘... You Rockkk!!! 👍😎🔥❤️
