Taking A Refreshing Look At Axie Infinity

Evening folks

So after being disillusioned with playing Splinterlands and doing a Crypto tidy up, I came across my old Axie's from many years ago.

I thought what the heck, I'll give it a go to see what's different.

I was blown away by the amount of change and their Discord is a very nice and refreshing change to The Tavern!

First off they now have 4 games and another 8 games on the Mavis hub. There is a load of games that are being worked on at this time as well.
This is pretty impressive considering what they have achieved in the last few years.

The scale of what you can now do with Axie's is pretty cool and I am still exploring all my options.

First off is the Classic game which has expanded a lot since I last played. There is tournamnets, A cursed Coliseum mode which involves cursed cards and is hard! Then Arena which is the 3 v 3 game mode and then adventure which is fun and chilled to play.

Onto Origin's which is a new game to me.
This one is definitely a more new player friendly and even gives you free Axie's to use which is amazing. What makes this even better is that you can actually earn just using the free Axie's which is insane to me!

Admittedly it wont make you rich but it's a start and will help you get into Axie in another way than just paying money straight up.

Just from these 2 games the whole ecosystem is pretty impressive now and they are actually trying really hard to burn excess coins such as slp on a weekly basis which is really good. It helps keep their economy afloat while also managing it in a way that the player's aren't losing out which is amazing.
They look to be working real hard on that and it's impressive to see.

At the time of writing 10$ would get you 3 Axie, admittedly they wont be great but it increases energy in Origins so that you can earn better rewards more often.

This is a fairly cheap entry for a game to possibly earn from and I am gonna be sticking to playing it for a bit I think and see how I progress.
