Mirrored strategy yet Different Luck
Good day everyone and Splinterlands community One of today's blogs is sharing my battle experience, It's likely a common lineup to use and it is rare to see the same strategy, and the only you want to do is skip or watch whether will end up as draw as the system will decide because same strategy, but what if different unit and same all stats (damage, speed, and health) will it end up one side of the team lose or win. Let's see in battle, analyze, and comment on what made you lose or win.

The rule sets given are Taking Side, Little League, and Back to Basics. With only Fire and Life elements active and a 34 mana cap. I decided to pick General Sloan because of dominating in magic damage and range damage and I also assumed that the opponent would do the same. I plan to prioritize using Magic damage and put high health or armor to the front position.
My Plan Line up
First position - Blinding Reflector
- Act as a tank in the First Position, a good choice to act as a tank because of decent 5 armor, 6 health, and 3 speed.
Second position - Pelacor Conjurer
- A Second position for another tanking because of decent 8 health good for those magic attacks.
Third position - Temporal Master
- An epic magic unit with 2 magic damage, 2 speed, and 5 health.
Fourth position - Dax Paragon
- Same as Temporal Master stats and the only difference is a card as this card is a rare type card.
Fifth position - Time Mage
- My main magic is 3 damage and 5 speed, a good position because I want this unit to survive most of the rounds.
Last position - Venari Crystalsmith
- My additional Main damage with 4 Range damage with 4 speed, this is a good enough position because of the range unit it muse be not in the first position as the rounds progress.
Selecting a useful ability in this battle with a good amount of damage will increase your chances of victory in this type of rule set.
Am I gonna lose this battle?
The opponent surprisingly had the same lineup strategy as my team line-up prioritizing magic damage using General Sloan in life element.
I want to skip this already because will end up draw if both team units are only left Venari Crystalsmith. But I'm confused about the system still proceeding to play the battle, as you can see the lineup on both sides only difference is the card position but still they are the same stats😅.
Quite a surprise my luck carried me to this match, and as you've watched the match both sides same speed then the system will randomly pick who will attack first which is the opponent will make the first move, and later on, will get a double attack each side every turn is fairly who will make the first move attack.
Maybe the cards I used positioning (Temporal Master and Dax Paragon) is made me win or it just by luck, making me win by the system. Comment below what made me win this battle.😁
I want to share this battle because quite interesting how this goes with the same lineup and one side must win/lose.🤗

MY COMMENT ON THIS NEW UPDATE IN GAME SPLINTERLANDS
With this new mechanics update from splinterlands I have struggled a bit advancing my rating or maintaining a certain League level, and I think this is also good to push through that player to invest new cards, especially a max level card in my main account ign: zactian I got demoted from gold to silver but I managed to get back to gold because I rented a certain element to improve winning rate and advance. In scholar spl balthzar account I just need to go at least Diamond 1 or Champion before the season ends, I still maintain my winning rate on this league up/down rating and responsibilities to follow the guild😁.
Thank You! for being here, coming this far, and supporting me. I hope this will help you in some of your battles.🤗

u can only draw if same position. that one actually is luck difference. maybe if the two cards were different rarity or speed then it wont be luck
