En muchas ocasiones una buena armadura en Splinterlands puede ser la clave para una buena victoria, pero ¿qué me decís si asta armadura te protege del primer ataque de tu oponente?

Habilidad de Holy Protection.

En Splinterlands tenemos una habilidad que me gusta mucho, es interesante y desafiante a la vez, porque te hace pensar cuál es tu mejor opción para poner en desventaja a tu oponente, para los que son nuevos en el juego les diré que la habilidad Holy Protection significa que todos los Monstruos tienen la habilidad Escudo Divino, esto quiere decir que el primer ataque ya sea mágico, a distancia o cuerpo a cuerpo, no tiene efecto sobre la carta golpeada.

Para darte un ejemplo más claro te puedo decir: Si tu oponente tiene una carta de ataque mágico +5, y la carta a la que ataca solo tiene 1 punto de vida, la habilidad Escudo Divino hace que ese primer ataque no haga ningún daño, espero que estés entendiendo la idea de esto, aunque aquí la diferencia es que al ser una regla de batalla, se aplicará a todas las cartas tanto tuyas como del oponente.

Holy Protection skill.

In Splinterlands we have an ability that I like a lot, it is interesting and challenging at the same time, because it makes you think what is your best option to put your opponent in disadvantage, for those who are new to the game I will tell you that the Holy Protection ability means that all Monsters have the Divine Shield ability, this means that the first attack either magical, ranged or melee, has no effect on the card hit.

To give you a clearer example I can tell you: If your opponent has a +5 magic attack card, and the card he is attacking only has 1 life point, the Divine Shield skill makes that first attack not do any damage, I hope you are understanding the idea of this, although here the difference is that being a battle rule, it will apply to all cards both yours and the opponent's.

El truco aquí es fácil, tienes que buscar eliminar este escudo a todas las cartas del oponente, ya que mientras más rápido lo hagas más fácil será para ti afectar su vida directamente, entonces una de las habilidades que nos ayudará en este caso es la habilidad Blast, esa habilidad que tanto me gusta, ya que si tienes en tu mazo una carta con Blast, esta le estará haciendo daño a la primera carta, eliminando así su protección, y con el efecto Blast también estarás eliminando el escudo de otra de sus cartas que estén cerca de la que atacaste al principio.

Esta es la forma de eliminar muy rápidamente este tipo de armadura, además también puedes utilizar una carta con punto de enfoque, con esto me refiero a que utilices cartas con la habilidad Taunt para que los ataques de tu oponente se centren solo en una de tus cartas, y de esta forma seguirás manteniendo tu armadura protectora en tus otras cartas.

This is the way to eliminate very quickly this type of armor, you can also use a card with a focus point, by this I mean that you use cards with the Taunt ability so that your opponent's attacks are focused only on one of your cards, and in this way you will continue to maintain your protective armor on your other cards.

Es aquí donde viene lo interesante, porque aquí os mostraré las cartas que me gusta usar en estos casos, por supuesto no es una estrategia que se pueda aplicar en todos los casos porque en Splinterlands siempre hay otras variantes como el gasto de maná, u otras reglas que se pueden mezclar con una condición de batalla específica como esta.

DELWYN DRAGONSCALE será el invocador que nos ayudara en la batalla de hoy, dicho invocador nos estará otorgando +1 de daño mágico, y esto, lo hago, ya que busco hacer el mayor daño mi oponente directamente a su vida, además que tengo algunas cartas con ataque mágico que son muy buenas en el Splinter Dragon.

DELWYN DRAGONSCALE will be the summoner that will help us in today's battle, this summoner will be giving us +1 magic damage, and this, I do, since I seek to do the most damage my opponent directly to his life, plus I have some cards with magic attack that are very good in the Splinter Dragon.

AGOR LONGTAIL será mi parta principal, y seguramente ya sabes el motivo por el cual la uso acá, a simple vista ya pedes notar que tiene mucho daño mágico así como también un ataque doble, pues tiene dos tipos de ataque en solo una carta, ella puede hacer ataques mágicos y al mismo tiempo puede hacer ataques cuerpo a cuerpo así que es la indicada para estar en la primera línea de ataque.

Además de eso, cuenta con la habilidad Taunt, esta habilidad es la que buscaba para enfocar el daño del rival en un solo punto, pero esa no es la única habilidad que ella tiene, pues también tiene la habilidad Flying la cual le permite que evite algunos ataques de rivales con poca velocidad de ataque.

Void Armor es otra de las habilidades que tiene, y esto le permite que los ataques mágicos no afecten su vida hasta no acabar por completo con su armadura, esto es algo que también nos ayudara mucho en contra de los ataques mágicos.

AGOR LONGTAIL will be my main part, and surely you already know the reason why I use it here, at first glance you can already notice that it has a lot of magic damage as well as a double attack, because it has two types of attack in only one card, she can make magic attacks and at the same time can make melee attacks so she is the right one to be in the first line of attack.

Besides that, she has the Taunt ability, this ability is the one she was looking for to focus the opponent's damage in a single point, but that is not the only ability she has, she also has the Flying ability which allows her to avoid some attacks from opponents with low attack speed.

Void Armor is another of the abilities she has, and this allows her to avoid magical attacks affecting her life until her armor is completely destroyed, this is something that will also help us a lot against magical attacks.

CARNAGE TITAN es una de las cartas de las cuales siempre hablo en mis post, es una realidad de que es una carta muy buena la cual puedes usar en tus batallas con el Splinter Dragon, lo que me gusta de esta carta es que puede atacar desde la segunda línea, así que la estaré usando como apoyo para mi carta principal.

Además de eso, tiene la habilidad Double Strike, esto nos ayudara mucho para con el primer ataque eliminar esa armadura del oponente, y con el segundo si dar un golpe que lo afecte de verdad.

CARNAGE TITAN is one of the cards I always talk about in my posts, it is a reality that it is a very good card which you can use in your battles with the Splinter Dragon, what I like about this card is that it can attack from the second line, so I will be using it as support for my main card.

Besides that, it has the Double Strike ability, this will help us a lot to eliminate the opponent's armor with the first attack, and with the second if we give a blow that really affects him.

GLORIDAX MAGUS es la carta que está en tercera posición, esta carta es la que nos estará ayudando a eliminar esa armadura de nuestro rival, pues ella cuenta con la habilidad Blast, y como puedes ver es una carta con ataque de tipo mágico, y recuerda que con el aumento de +1 de daño mágico de nuestro invocador, esta carta estará haciendo ataques con +2 de daño.

En pocas ocasiones la uso, pero para explicarles mejor como funciona el Blast, esta fue una carta interesante de mostrarte, además que para ser sinceros, es una carta muy buena del Splinter Dragon.

TECHNOWIZOLOGIST es una carta que me encanta, puedes ver que es del Splinter Fuego, esta nos estará ayudando a que nuestro rival pueda perder algunos de sus turnos de ataque, y esto es gracias a su habilidad Stun, tiene un buen ataque mágico, y su vida es un poco baja comparado con el gasto de maná, pero aun así es muy buena.

TECHNOWIZOLOGIST is a card that I love, you can see that it is from Splinter Fire, this will be helping our opponent to lose some of his attack turns, and this is thanks to his Stun ability, he has a good magic attack, and his life is a little low compared to the mana expenditure, but still it is very good.

BLACK DRAGON es una carta legendaria que también es muy para estas batallas, puedes ver que la cantidad de vida es muy baja y su coste de maná es un poco alto, pero acá lo importante es que tiene la habilidad de FLYING para evadir algunos ataques, y sumado a eso también, LIFE LEECH es la habilidad que hace que sea mi favorita, con esta habilidad puedes ir aumentando la cantidad de tu vida en cada uno de los ataques que hagas a tu rival.

Entonces, al final de la batalla puede que tu carta con poca vida ya tenga más de 10 puntos de vida...

Como puedes notar en esta imagen, la habilidad Blast está ayudando a eliminar la armadura de la carta de la segunda línea de ataque, es este el motivo por el cual la estoy usando, de esta forma se me facilita más que las demás cartas puedan hacer daño verdadero sin tener que esperar a eliminar la armadura otorgada por la regla de batalla.
