My Way to become a Splinterlegend - Grinding all day ?

Splinterlands is a Web 3 card game. So far so familiar.

Normally, games, especially on the Internet, should provide an incentive to continue playing and have fun on a regular basis. Is this still the case with splintalents?

In the meantime, I have the feeling that the game mechanics are increasingly degenerating into grinding.

You can do 50 battles a day with 50 energy, which regenerates at a rate of 1 per hour, so 24 a day. That means you can play at least 24 games a day. For me, it has become so common that many games are no longer watched at all. The battles run automatically anyway, so there's no need to watch the games.

Since the removal of the league restrictions, the game has lost a lot of skill. You can lose against cards at Lv MAX. That's not a shame, on the contrary - it's pay to win.
At least as long as you don't have any cards on LV MAX yourself.
On the other hand, (almost) every line-up has one or two keys. If these are taken out of the game very early on, it becomes impossible to win. Every team is vulnerable and you usually have to take a risk.
About 90% of losses are due to these reasons.
Now and again, bad luck also plays a part. That's why there are games that need to be analyzed. But there are very few of them.

Unfortunately, this means that the gaming experience is completely lost. There is little tension, no nothing. As a consequence, this does not lead to the player actively staying involved. Instead, an automatic mode is activated, which is only interrupted because the opponent does not set up their team in time. This (short) waiting time is the negative side effect.
And this is exactly the point where I'm seeing it become more and more grinding. The goal of having fun and enjoying playing is being pushed further and further into the background. The only important thing is the minimal amount of SPS and GLINT.

What is your opinion on this?
I hope for many opinions. Do you see any solutions to this problem ?

24 battles in a day, including playing tournaments and brawls is enough for me to learn and play enough for one day.

More players will lead op to nice and better divided deck, so no overpowered deck in bronze. Even to liquidity bots of the team are helping (sometimes they are a bit strong)

So my opinion we are on the right track now we need more players playing for fun not only $ rewards.

I don't think you're wrong. 24 games is a lot to learn.
At a certain point you get the hang of it.

For me, many games are simply optimized too much, either through cards or almost perfect lineups. That takes a lot of the fun out of it.

More players who play for fun, yes, that would help. Even if it doesn't matter if you lose a fight.
Personally, I would also find a mode where random cards are “banned” helpful. That could help against BattleBots and bring a lot of fun

Many thanks for your comment!
