# Swimming in SPS! - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 27 Report Card

Hi everyone!
It is getting very exciting in the splintered lands!
Land 1.5(part 1) seems to be ready to drop in the next month or two.
I've now got all my DEC (I think, I'm not great at maths) ready for my plots. I don't have many plots at all, but I have figured out which cards will work on which land and what I need to stake.
I'm still a little confused about what exactly is coming soon, and what will be implemented later.
I've read the updated timelines but I honestly wish it had a little more detail.
Things like Land Surfing, which as far as I understand is the ability for anyone to stake unoccupied land (highest production points gets it) is something that seems super chaotic and fun, and might be perfect for someone like me who doesn't have much land, but has a few cards on the rental market. So I need to be ready for it, whenever it comes out.
Also also, a game of Splinterlands that I played while I'm making this report netted me 4.6SPS for the win. That is just, so huge! I'm pretty excited about all the rewards at the moment... but let's dig into this report for last season...

Super annoyed with myself for my inability to get into the Diamond league last season for Modern. I just could not make it happen. Competition was tough!
I didn't play many games at all this season, there's a lot going on with work but I'm starting to think that I need to spend as much time in Wild as I have in Modern... I have way way way more cards for Wild... and for this current season the bots got kicked out of Modern and I'm not actually sure if that's made it easier or harder, but I can tell you that the rewards seemed to have kicked up a notch, so that's fun.

For Season 27 I believe I only grabbed 22 Loot Chests. Which is why my rewards overall are way less than half my usual... and I probably got around 50% less cards.

Rentals are almost exactly what they were last season... which I guess makes sense... similar demand, exactly the same supply.

While my Brawl Rewards are actually higher than usual, literally everything else is down... I'm not sure why Staking and Liquidity Rewards would be down, I didn't touch them at all... and I don't really understand why there would be any variation in License Stake Rewards at all given no one has bought a new License Node for a long, long time.

Season 27 obviously wasn't my best, but my life has calmed down a bit the last week or so and I'm enjoying the game more than ever. To be getting 2, 3 or 4 SPS per win is honestly thrilling... and while I'm sure that's not the permanent state of things, that makes this moment even more exciting.
I don't personally have much interest in SoulKeep myself, I did get 133 packs at launch (for the SPS mainly) and I'll give it a go, but I am really excited that it'll be launching soon and hopefully find new players to bring into the ecosystem. Whoa! I just looked and 81% of SoulKeep card packs (Nightmare packs) are still available... potentially the people who play SoulKeep might get themselves a ton of SPS when they win if the playerbase is tiny. Exciting things to come.
I don't have any GLS packs, but I have been enjoying staking the GLX tokens from my SPS, and while I don't think I'll be able to afford to buy a team, I hope it goes well.

Besides the great income you have, it's nice reading that also the game may have some "resting periods" when you take something else to do in your life or simply you find more time to spend on it, improving your stats even more.

I agree though, while Splinterlands does feel like a game that you're building up day after day, it's also important to rest from it (and everything else) occasionally.

North of Italy has been bombed by hailstorms and the South by fires. Hailstorm with some insurances can be solved while fires, most of them made by humans (by purpose or not) are the worst as they dismantle very nice green areas, making a lot of houses to be evacuated and creating a lot of panic.
Mary's twin sister has to evacuate her home for a day as the fire got in front of her house but luckily she lives close to a member of the IT Parliament, so the fire got resolved quite quickly. There.
Oh wow! I had no idea about the hailstorms. We had a storm a few years ago where literally everyone had to make insurance claims for their roofs or cars. It was wild.
Your sister in law did very well in choosing a location to live, that's for sure.
Yes, Italy is now like an oxymoron: ice in the North, fire in the South.
And yeah, my sister in law got quite lucky of the area she found herself living in. Even if Calabria, the region where se lives and works (and where I am headed in the coming days for vacation to the parents in law) got quite roasted from fires. If I will get bored from sea and working, I will ask to join firemen 😂
A lot of people have testify that the game is actually fun to play with even with the bots in the game but still interesting and it will be great to try it out one day
Yeah, I personally have no issue with the bots. I don't use bots myself, I've played every game on my account, but I was worried that once the bots were removed from Modern then it might be hard to line up a game.
I've noticed that the wait times have increased in Modern, but not to any significant unplayable degree... and the increase in rewards more than makes up for that in my view.
It looks like only a fraction of the daily accounts are playing Modern now, compared to Wild... which is fine by me.
Just the way new gameplay is coming and one should keep the same cards that will be used in the upcoming game and the way we have heard now that the bots are not going to advance one level. If so, that's a very good thing. You have earned some decent income and best of luck for the next month.
Thank you so much djbravo. I'm so curious to see how Land 1.5 affects both the cards that people play with, and the cards that are available to rent. I have absolutely no idea if Land 1.5 will affect gameplay at all, but I suspect it will.

What is the power creep? Is that the thing requiring SPS to go up into different leagues? Or just newer cards always being slightly more powerful?
I think power crewp is the new cards being slightly more powerful. Which might actually help me
