Fire Melee Battle on Odd Ones Out | Splinterlands Battlemage Secret Challenge

Hello everyone, welcome back to Ramadhanight's Hive Blog on Splinterlands Weekly Battle Mage Secrets Challenge's Session. For this week Battle Mage Secret Challenge, there is Odd Ones Out ruleset that limit the monster able to use base on the mana cost. With almost half monster are unable to be used, the option is getting limited and cause both team might use the same monster for the battle. Let's see how it goes !

Battle of The Week

Here is my formation for the battle :

Rules set:

Rise of the Common : Only rare and common monster are available. Such a limit for monster.
Tis but scratches : All monster have cripple ability. This mean healing is not effective
Odd ones out : Only monster with odd mana are available. Another limited monster
23 mana cap: Low mana cap for such a limited monster ruleset.
Splinter available : Only fire, earth, and life splinter are available.

My Lineup's Explanation :

The battle scene are also explained below:

At the end of 1st round, only enemies last monster that been eliminated, while the rest is still standing at the battlefield. Now it's 4-4 situation

At the end of 2nd round, it's another last monster of my enemies is eliminated, but my tank and backline is already in crisis, that +1 health buff from the summoner is giving great advantage beside the armor at this melee battle.

Now it's time for enemies 2nd monster that is eliminated after getting thorned and assasinated by the opportunity monster, while my tank and backline is eliminated as well. Now it's 2-2 situation

Finally, both team are ended with 1 monster, and my monster managed to eliminate my enemies with faster movement speed thanks to the summoner buff.

Discuss Odd Ones :

What Should We Get :
Well, since the limitation is based on the mana cost, we need to makes sure having enough monster at our deck, this is vital because you can't relly on certain monster which will unavailable to be used on this ruleset. If you have enough monster, the rest is picking them based on the other ruleset and mana cap.

What Should We Avoid:

Avoid renting too little cards, which you think is best meta, because some of them might be unavailable to be used.

What would i do next ?
Well, with my collection, I think is quite enough and the rest is just about the mana cap and the other ruleset that appears.

Conclussion

Odd ones out are limited the monster that is available based on their mana cost. It is important to have enough stock of monster so you can still have many option to be used on the battlefield. And don't forget to see the other ruleset and the mana cap to create the best chance winning the match.
