i believed in splinterlands and its future, i strongly believed in sps.
so I invested more than 10,000 dollars in the sps, after just over a month I find my capital at -75% of the investment, since the sps loses 5% per day, I am forced to abandon the project and splinterlands, because (in my opinion) investors are not protected, for the following reason: if 65000000 of new cards are put into circulation it is normal for the ecosystem to collapse, because players and investors do not have enough liquidity to support the whole market, packages chaos, dec, sps, vaucher and nft cards on the market.
Now the question remains whether splinterlands with these 15000000 chaos packs have thought about the future of splinterlands players and investors or their own pockets.

I feel your pain. I was at almost $9000 not too long ago and now just a fraction of that value. So many more cards to come out and so many more SPS to be issued with new battle modes to dilute DEC rewards.
In a post months ago I wrote "I love splinterlands so I'm selling everything" because I saw a crash. Too many people chasing fast profits. Kind of like when I bought 1 BTC at $800 only to see it run like crazy to $24000 only to fall back to $4000. In the short term it really hurt...but you know what, it recovered.
DEC was always supposed to be a penny coin, not a dollar coin. The Chaos print run is supposed to last a year or longer, not sell out in a month. SPS hasn't got a use yet and probably won't until the land expansion comes. Things are absolutely dark right now.
But the question is there a future? The development team has big plans to turn this into a big game and always has. There is evidence they are working hard at it so I still believe in the game. I could lose a lot of money to be sure and if I cash out now I'm guaranteed to take a big loss.
However, if I hold on and keep enjoying the game. Well, I could lose even more but things could also turn around. In the meantime I'll have some fun with my guildmates and win some battles and hone my skills.
Time will tell
I think it’s just inflation, because there are SPS airdrops in the game every day, so the price may drop until the airdrop ends.
75,000,000 new cards + airdrops not 65,000,000 like you said. Cards are needed to future Land and new players need cheaper cards to begin their journey.
We are in a bear position right now and all the Crypto world is down not only SPS, you must be patient with the Crypto market... even with life itself.
