Huge price drop in DEC, time for buying quest potion!

Wait for a while, don't be fool!
As the price of DEC has seen a significant dropped recently, many of the players are planning to buy some quest potions like me, but after analysing the overall scenario, I am going to explain my suggestion.

A daily quest potion will give you 5 more loot chest after you complete your daily quest.

But the price is 750 DEC per potion which is approximately 1.5 bucks.

Can you get the value back from extra 5 loot chest???

The answer is simply no, at this current price of cards in splinterlands.

Though earlier, I earned a lot of interesting reward card for one month before the new CL reward cards released, and these are now very expensive relatively.

Why then quest potion stills there?
I think this is a million dollar question, but it is necessary for the future of the game when the reward cards will be expensive.

And now price of the quest potion is just double of the standard price of 750 credit. But you can't get any benefit from it in this current market conditions.

Let's check what you will get from the quest potions in values?

As you know in current game economy, loot chest will have more cards from the silver 3 league and also the possibility of getting CL packs increases throughout the higher league.
Let's compare the Average loot chest value in current market price.
The maximum value in returns will be from the Champions 1 leaugue which is 0.20 bucks per loot chest. means you will get 1 dollar back in value after spending 1.5 dollars in potion unless you get a legendary or a CL pack.

So the price defining factor is here the CL pack or the legendary cards. For your reference, I am summing up all the leagues and their respective values per loot chest in current market value in the following table.

Hope you will not buy quest potions, rather than buy some DEC and keep for SPS airdrop, or buy some SPS in this juicy price, or buy some cards for huge returns in future. Befor any steps in investing money , you should learn all the related things, don't be rush and be in FOMO.
