SPS Price Drop and Giveaway Winners!

Today we've got massive price drops on the Splintershards token that I'll be reporting as well as the lucky winners to my giveaway yesterday!

Starting with the SPS news, we've got a 6.31% price drop on the SPS token from yesterday at the time of writing. The current price is about $0.36 as reported in the Splinterlands game and the last sold went for about $0.33. This is a pretty dramatic drop from yesterday's peak of about $0.49 as reported by Coincost.

I reckon this drop in value has plenty to do with the start of this new season in Splinterlands, as the in-game market dies down as well. Rental prices on cards started to return to normal for the most part as players were no longer attempting to hit a high rating in the last few hours of the previous season. I also feel as though many people panic sold during the beginning of this new season, as the 24h volume is at almost $50,000!

I'm no financial advisor, but I will be holding onto my SPS for the foreseeable future, due to reasons I explain thoroughly here.
