Ten HSBI and two DUO Token Giveaway Week 25!
Sunday yet again, seems to come faster and faster each week. Once again it is time for my weekly ten HSBI giveaway! I also give out two DUO tokens and a legendary Splinterlands card. It's a lot of fun to give back to Hive, so many people here have helped me along the way and I want to do the same for others. The way I see things you can never have too many HSBI, and it's a great way for newbies and veterans of Hive to increase their curation income.
So first up let's have a look at the highlighted results from last week. Last week's entry question was: What is your favorite mythical creature? Here are just some of the answers, there were some great picks! Some I expected and others I never saw coming.
Dragons
The most popular by far was dragons. Not Imagine Dragoons, just regular ones. It's not hard to see why, they are just plain cool! Maybe being the year of the dragon has something to do with it too. Or may it was that Game of Thrones show that I never got around to watching. It was on the to do list and still is, one of these days I'll get there.

Hydra
I had mentioned that I had considered picking the Hydra last week, and we did have one person choose this creature. What's not to like? It's a dragon with a whole lot of heads.

Kitsune
This Japanese mythical creature is known to be like a fox with multiple tails and shape shifting abilities. It's a great choice and two people picked this one. It is really cool!

Cheburashka
We had one even mention Cheburashka from @stdd . To be honest I had absolutely no idea what this one was. He did give Russian Wikipedia page which did me little good. The last time I dated a Russian woman was some 25 years ago so my Russian is pretty lousy. So I found the English version and it made things a lot easier! Turns out he is a fictional character from children's books from the 1960's but became a Russian icon. Kind of like the soviet version of Mickey Mouse.

Well, onto to today's contest!
Today's question: What is your favorite movie or television series that has come out this year?
I have some guesses what some responses will be already, but this should be a lot of fun! Right now I am watching a new series on Netflix that stars one of my favorite actors Jeff Goldblum. He plays the god Zeus in the show "Kaos". It's a fun show, kind of a modern take on the Greek gods. If you're a Jeff Goldblum fan you're sure to like it. It's a dark comedy that so far has been worth watching.
Movies I haven't really seen any in the theater this year, so I don't have a pick for this one. Let's see what you guys come up with!

I will be giving out two prizes of five (5) HSBI. Third prize will be 2 DUO tokens, the token I recently launched with @bulliontools and @bitcoinman . It offers those who stake sufficient tokens daily curation on quality posts, dividends, and a tipping bot. It also helps to onboard and retain new Hive members. At the end of the post there is a link to the white paper and where to purchase the tokens. There will also be one legendary Splinterlands card as a fourth prize. And please one entry per person to make it fair to everyone.

Choosing the Winners
All valid entries will be placed on the Wheel of Names and I will spin it four times. The first prize will be 5 HSBI units. The second prize will be another 5 HSBI units. And the third prize will be two DUO tokens. Fourth prize is a legendary Splinterlands card or one HSBI unit! And since I am spinning the same wheel four times in a row it is theoretically possible for the same person to win all four prizes! Although I have yet to see it happen, maybe this week?

It's difficult to pick. I didn't watch many movies and all the series from 2024 weren't amazing. I liked 3 Body Problem but not enough to pick as a favorite. However, it has been a good year for Anime. For me, the best one was Solo Leveling. I didn't expect to like it so much but I got very hyped watching the first season and I can't wait for the second.
3 Body Problem was interesting, hopefully the season 2 will be worth watching!
Thanks for the HSBI. I don't have anything for this week's question. The last series I watched was Dark Wind a native American series that came out in 2022. They haven't came out with a third season which is usually my luck haha. Haven't watched a movie that has come out this year either. If I watch any TV it is usually the history channel or sports.

Yeah sometimes other things get in the way of getting into a new series or going to the movies or just watching one.
Oh steroid Tuesday is in the books, now I look forward to the weekend yet again, haha.
so far my favorite movie this year was Inside out 2.
I haven't seen it yet, I'll probably check it out when it's finally on streaming at some point.
I don't watch TV recently, not in public one, or the cable one (i don't have cable tv, haha)
Also Netflix is still out of my budget to buy the subscription, so I don't have any expended movie that is going to be released this year. : )

Wow, you made me think. I haven't seen any favorite movie or series this year. I'll have to get into that. I've heard a lot about HOUSE OF THE DRAGON. I'd like to see it. I think that would be my favorite movie of 2024.

Last I checked, you could see episodes from the current season on The CW, Prime, Peacock (I think), and a few other streaming services. They also have their own app on Roku and Firestick where you can watch episodes back to season 1 in addition to their website, TheChosen.TV.

About the series or films, I don't watch any, so really a difficult question 😅
As I had no inspiration, I let Hive (aka the comments here) inspire me and go for House of the Dragons. It sounds like a medieval series with some phantasy, two aspects I eventually like ^^

There you go! As you build up more and more the up votes go to daily and start climbing in value. One year ago I had 11 HSBI, then I started to do giveaways in the form of re-blog lotteries for about six months. Now I'm down to the weekly giveaway and sponsoring events. Every unit you sponsor gives you the matching amount in your account. So helping out someone else helps you in return!
It seems to me that the HSBI is not trade-able. I am unable to buy more of those.
To get more you need to sponsor another member, any member. You send one Hive or more to @steembasicincome and in the memo put the name of the person you want to sponsor. That person gets one unit (or more if you send more) and you get a matching number of units in your account.
Can I sponsor you before I delegate?
What should I write in the memo if I were to sponsor you?
Just put @thebighigg and then I would receive a unit and you as well!

How long should I wait before I can delegate?

They are non exchangeable and stay with your account. If you ever chose to change your main account you can contact them and they can transfer them to the new one.
