Random thought: The second season of Russian Doll would have been more perfect with the song Free by Florence + The Machine. Now yeah, on April 20th the second season of Russian Doll was released, I watched it on the 22nd because first I was finishing watching Avatar: The Legend of Ang, that day I also watched Heartstopper, but I'll tell you about that series later.

En esta segunda temporada nos encontraremos 4 años después de que Nadia murió muchas veces sin parar en su cumpleaños 36, ahora, en la semana cuando va a cumplir 40 años, se encuentra de nuevo en un problema com el universo, pero esta vez no va a morir y revivir para vivir de nuevo ese día, no, esta vez al tomar un tren viajará al pasado, y así finalmente llegaremos a darle un significado realista, sin importar que sea más fantasioso, al título de la serie, conoceremos a la verdadera Muñeca Rusa.

It was an ending without words, an ending that felt like that comforting hug that we so much need someone to give us, an ending that needs no explanation, although there are people who do google looking for the meaning of the ending because they haven't lived something similar, no matter that I haven't either, I understood it, I lived it, I cried it, I loved it, and I think I will come back to watch the two seasons again.

Esta segunda temporada va a ser muy personal, conoceremos más a Nadia, su historia de vida, conoceremos a su madre, interpretada por una increíble Chloë Sevigny que entiende perfectamente lo que debe hacer y lo hace a la perfección.

Esta segunda temporada es una carta de amor a la terapia psicológica, y me río al escribirlo, porque solo lo pude identificar gracias a que volví hace meses a terapia y se siente igual que esta segunda temporada, no me di cuenta hasta que terminó, viví demasiado todo lo que le estaba sucediendo a Nadia, solo pude llorar junto a ella al final. Fue un final sin palabras, un final que sintió como ese abrazó consolador que tanto necesitamos que alguien nos dé, un final que no necesita explicación, aunque hay personas que sí googlean buscando el significado del final porque no han vivido algo parecido, sin importar que yo tampoco lo haya hecho, pero lo entendí, lo viví, lo lloré, lo amé, y creo que volveré a ver las dos temporadas de nuevo.

Alan volverá a aparecer en esta temporada, pero al contrario que con la temporada pasada, no va a estar relacionado por completo a Nadia, o al menos esta vez los viajes en el tiempo no van a estar relacionados, Nadia tendrá situaciones que va a querer arreglar, Alan va a tener situaciones que querrá arreglar, por separado, en tiempos y lugares diferentes, no sé si darles el spoiler en este momento, o después, porque siento que debo hacerlo en el momento correcto de la historia para que lo entiendan.

En esta segunda temporada tampoco podía faltar esa escena psicotrópica que carece de sentido y que les podrá disparar un episodio de epilepsia si tienen esa predisposición fisiológica. Esta escena fue de mis favoritas, fue una locura total, además de reveladora, eso tengo que decirlo, hay muchos puntos claves que creemos que no tienen sentido, pero sí, lo descubriremos en el transcurso de los capítulos.

Las actuaciones son maravillosas, no tengo queja de nadie, la verdad, y eso es muy raro. El soundtrack es una cosa preciosa, está igual de insano que la serie, lo amé, y como dije al principio, hubiera sido más perfecto si le hubieran agregado la canción Free de Florence + The Machine, joder, ambas combinan a la perfección.

A pesar de que tiene mucha comedia negra, esta serie, no solo esta temporada, es muy sentimental, tiene un trasfondo emocional que se nos va a ir desnudando poco a poco, cada vez va a llegar más profundo y llegaremos al final solo para llorar, llorar por cosas que aún ni siquiera sabemos que teníamos que llorar, les repito, esta temporada es una representación gráfica de lo que un proceso terapeútico es, fue muy bien hecho, y no tengo más que decir.

Bueno, tengo que decir que vayan a ver el trailer, vayan a ver la primera temporada, y después vean la segunda temporada, claro está; amen a Nadia, aunque no la soporten, cosa que me sucede, amo el personaje, la actuación, todo, pero en la vida real yo no me podría llevar bien con alguien así, aunque le admire y le tenga aprecio.
