A hopeless battle

Some battles render players helpless and hopeless, a battle in which you need no soothsayer to tell you that you are going to lose and not even a miracle can save you... That is the kind of battle I brought to you today.

The opponent would realize there was no way out immediately after our teams were revealed and the stats took effect on the monsters.

Let me go back to the beginning of the game, I was paired with an unknown in a 3 ruleset combo.

• Equalizer: This was the first rule of the game, it means all the monsters have the same health base with the monster with the highest health base in either team... To break this down, Grimbardun Smith on my team was the monster with the highest health of 10 so all monsters automatically have 10 base health and if you are wondering why my monsters have 11 health base, this is because the summoner I use gave them +1 health.

• Holy protection: All the monsters have the divine shield ability. the first attack on them won't deduct their health but the negative effect still works.

• Born again: All the monsters have the chance to resurrect once when they get eliminated, the opponent used all his resurrections but I didn't see the use for it because my monsters were unshakeable.

I pondered a bit on the formation to use but in the end, I decided to place my bet on one weird lineup, if it goes well, a 100 percent win rate is assured but if the opponent uses something entirely different, then am going to lose woefully.

*The lineup I used was to render the opponent's magic monsters helpless by reducing their power to the minimum of 1, then I also protected my team by placing a monster with void as the tank and protected it with rear monsters with heal tank and armor repair. The only way the opponent can defeat the lineup is if he uses a monster with an oppress ability, especially Venka the vile

When the battle was revealed, it was with Khazrakh a top player!

Look at his dope line, he came with full magic monsters and he also placed Dumarcke Orc with the thorn and retaliate abilities as his tank, he predicted I was coming with Venka and he could easily take it down with orc but that didn't happen, I was Venka less too!

If he knew I was coming with this kind of setup, he would never have used this formation, so guess what his team looks like after all the stats took effect.

All his magic monsters were rendered useless! power reduced to 1 and with my Grimbardun Smith at the front of the battle, my formation impenetrable

The orc could only destroy Smith's armor which gets fixed by Smith and Scavo hireling another monster with a repair ability that I used.

The two scattershot monsters I used Madcap Magus and Acid Shooter disorganized the opponent's rear line and all he could do was watch how his team got destroyed... All I needed was time and I got a long one to annihilate the opponent.
