Last Saturday Savers Report of year 2024 - 6 goals completed ✅

The last week of December arrived and tomorrow I’ll embark on my 1 000+ miles drive back home. I will have little time to write once I get home. Barely enough time to unpack, repack, do some washing and be on my merry way to celebrate NYE at the 2-nights long salsa party with friends!

Bearing this in mind, I sit down to write my last report for #SaturdaySavers this year. How did I do? Did I achieve all my 2023 saving goals? The simple answer would be NO, but I did achieve some out of many goals I set myself for this year, which means I saved a lot.

For this week I don't need to check the calendar to see which week we're in. Year has 52 weeks and it's the last week of this year, hence why this report is for Week #52. Last time I posted my savings report was Week #45, so this report will show a progress of 7 weeks of savings as well as overall yearly summary.

Without further delay, let’s jump to the figures!

2023 LP and Newborn Cub status - COMPLETED ✅

My Leo Power is one goal that I kept my eye on very closely during the whole of 2023. I tried various ways of increasing my stash of #Leo:

• Writing long form posts on Leofinance (sporadically I may add 😉);

• Threading using both of my accounts;

• Delegating HP to @leo.voter;

• Curating threads for @hivegardenleo (curation account of @gardenhive community);

• Participating in #Zealy campaign;

• Buying $leo from the market.

Threading and threads curation seem to be the most efficient ways for me to earn Leo, although I’d always buy some extra from the market too.

Sadly I am still experiencing many issues with using threads on my mobile. The biggest issue is that I am not able to curate any threads, as the voting menu doesn’t show for me. Whether I’m logged in using Hive Keychain or in normal browser using LeoAuth - both methods don’t allow for voting using either of my iPhones.

During the past 2 weeks, while I'm on holiday I was able to catch up a bit, as I use my laptop often while I'm here, but overall this issue has slowed down my accumulation of Leo from curating threads.

My goal of achieving Newborn Cub status and having 2023 LP by the end of 2023 however has been achieved nonetheless and in my last #LPUD I have already announced that I am now a Newborn Cub with 2086 LP which is around 50 more Leo than I was aiming for in my Leo goals entry post from the end of last year.

I have also completed each and every lpud of 2023 and I am now a proud holder of every LPUD badge of this year.

New goal 2500 HP - COMPLETED if counting both accounts ✅

A few months ago I lowered my HP goal of 5565 HP to 2500. This was meant to be 2500 HP on my main account only and that version of the goal has not been achieved. I am however happy to say that including both of my accounts, this goal has been surpassed. At the time of writing this, I have 2034 HP on my main account @fantagira and additional 620 HP on this @fantagira7 Leo/Actifit alt account. The total HP on both accounts is therefore just shy of 2700 and will most likely cross this amount by the end of 2023.

For the next year I will be setting a goal for both of these accounts in total, as I never know which topics I will be posting more about and as I've seen in 2023, the alt account seem to have a life of its own.

As for the weekly accumulation my total HP reported 7 weeks ago was 1852, so a total of 182 HP increase. On average I was adding barely 26 HP per week. Not great, but there is always a progress, no matter how big or small.

The reason why I am not really that concerned by not exactly reaching my 2023 HP goal is that at one time in November I sat down and calculated my total hive assets and I was nicely surprised.

Counting from 1st of November 2022 to 1st of November 2023 my total hive assets (priced $0.383/hive) included:

• 1852 HP = $702 (main account),
• 557 HP = $211 (alt account),
• 644 Hive = $244 (dCrops assets),
• 789 Hive = $302 (hive-engine tokens),
• 130 Hive = $50 savings.

In total, on the 1st of November 2023 my both accounts equalled to 3975 Hive or $1510 ($0.383/hive on that date). Meanwhile the total $ value of rewards all my articles on both accounts earned during that year were $872.

Considering that the whole amount was earned by content creation, content curation, as well as trading various L2 tokens and NFT assets and investing in passive income tokens, it has been an overall very successful 1st year on Hive with almost 4k worth of Hive assets.

When setting my 2024 goals, I will be looking at both - HP goals as well as total hive assets goals.

One year - 2 Minnow accounts

Achieving a Minnow status on my main account was a no brainer - this was done by the end of first month of 2023. What I was not expecting was that my second account will also achieve the same status this year.

My rewards for posting long form on then Leofinance were really tiny to start with, but as my stake grew, as I become more active on #threads and learned about various curation channels for INLeo content so did my rewards grow and in time this alt has become fully self-sustaining in a way that I didn't need to spend any Hive on buying Leo tokens for LPUDs. Way to go!

365 days HBD savings - not achieved!

I said it many times in my reports, but I will say it one last time. My goal setting for this year was dream-based and not realistic to the amount of effort I was able to put into content creation. As a result, I very quickly changed and paused some of my saving goals for this year and HBD savings goal was the first one to go.

Nonetheless, I was adding a few $ here and there for a total of 51.544 HBD in my savings today. Not a huge amount, but it always makes me smile to claim 20% of whatever I have in interests every month :)

365 days GBP savings - COMPLETED ✅

My 365 days goal in my local currency was an easier one to complete, as it didn't involve content creation, but rather consistency in putting my real life money aside.

This goal was set so I can have some extra money for travelling next year and I have saved more than I planned - over 1000 in my local currency, which was thoroughly spent and enjoyed during my Christmas trip to Poland 😁🎄

My crystals did a great job of guarding those savings from myself throughout the year 2023! I will use them for the same purpose in 2024.

1000 AP on main - COMPLETED ✅

My #ALIVE goal has been completed in the first half of this year and that sure was a good feeling to complete the goal ahead of time. Since then I set the same goal for my alt account and at the moment, my current stake is 797 AP. I was hoping to buy some more ALIVE tokens and I did purchase a few, but not enough to complete this additional goal of mine. I decided to carry this goal forward to the next year instead, as there are a few more things I want to concentrate on before this year ends.

10 EDSMM tokens - COMPLETED ✅

EDSMM tokens were sure a great spent and have I known the potential of this token, I would surely buy some more of those, but nonetheless I'm happy I even got a few. I won a few extra for voting in the Author of the week poll on #threads and by commenting on SaturdaySavers post that I did, but this is now on pause due to Polls not working on threads.

My #POB stake although no goal was set, has increased nicely by 269 POB since last report. I decided not to set a goal for it, but I'm tracking the progress nonetheless. I’m happy to see some curation rewards coming in regularly from my stake of 2026 POB tokens.

My LOH tokens are well over 100, making it possible for me to use LADY tipping command. Since last report there are 42 extra tokens in my wallet.

10 000 BBH tokens - COMPLETED ✅

My newly added goal of 10 000 BBH was already fulfilled soon after setting it. Next year I’ll set another goal to have the same amount on both accounts (I think). I enjoy my weekly LEO drips and @bradleyarrow adds more drips every so often. At first there were only swap.hive drips. Now there are Leo, ALIVE and CTP drips on top of swap.hive and Bradley is working on collecting enough BEE to create an Outpost/Community front end. My HSBI Units grew nicely due to 3 factors:

• @freecompliments community rewards their members in HSBI for posting, threading and membership;

• I’m sponsoring lucky number 27 in Ecency Leaderboad every week with 1 Unit;

• I’m sponsoring HPUD’s lucky numbers 7 and 27 also with 1 HSBI unit each month.

I love HSBI and it’s a perfect gift that keeps giving to the giver and the receiver 😍 In the past 7 weeks my HSBI Units have grown by 43 for a total of 110 Units on both accounts.

One new addition to my table is LuCoin by @szejq . I have already wrote about @hive-lu L2 token and all the reasons why I’m stashing it here. Presale is now over, but there are some extra bonuses for buying bigger quantities still and with 0.2% price increase every day, as well as hive drips and curation program it’s a token worth holding in my wallet. My current stash of LuCoin is 261 LU across both account, which is 36 Lu more than I had 7 weeks ago.

That will be it for today! Ending 2023 with 6 goals completed (including modified HP to include both accounts) I can say that I am very pleased with this year in terms of savings.

I might have dreamt of achieving Dolphins badge this year by accumulating over 5500HP on my main account, but with overall hive value of all my hive assets at just shy of 4 000 Hive I am very satisfied with my 2023 saving and I hope many of you have reached most if not all of your savings goals for this year.
