Why Splinterlands NFTs
everybody is talking these days about Elon Musk and Tesla's decision not to sell cars accepting bitcoin payments
so what is the big news i don't understand
who cares about what TESLA is willing to do, crypto was there long time before TESLA jumped into the game so what's all this noise about
i really don't care about the whole issue
what i care about, this the reason of my post today, is to speak to you about Splinterlands ,my investment in the game 3 years ago and the value of these NFTs..
cause you have to understand that each Splinterlands card is a unique NFT
my initial investment in the game if i remember correctly was $5 to buy the starter pack which now happens to be the spellbook, also bought some booster packs $2 each and got involved in the first Kickstarter campaign to support the project with $50
if you calculate the numbers my investment in the game was not more than $75
i'm saying this in order to make clear to you that it was not a huge amount my first capital and i 'm sure anyone of you out there can play with this money easily
of course you can use even less to start your journey and in case you like it you can add some more
the thing is that i got my investment back really fast and then i started building my account day by day
today as we speak my account worth more than $2000 and it keeps on adding value
am i happy about it?
i don't have to answer this question, only a madman could say no!
but what it thrills me the most is the community behind Splinterlands and the so many options you have, to get some profit from every aspect is this game
i've been reading about NFTs 3 months now
Splinterlands cards are the only NFTs i'm willing to put my money in and why is that i let you know
first of all when i'm dealing with Splinterlands cards i feel like i really own some digital assets
its not that i can use them only inside the game
no guys this is not the case
you deal with the cards in HIVE-blockchain but you can very very easily transfer them in your WAX account
you don't like WAX and EOS blockchain?....ok, you can trasfer them in OpenSea.io and trade them in ETHEREUM blockchain
and i'm positive as time goes by, new ways of trading these NFTs are going to be implemented
so you have a variety of options which add value on your cards-NFTs
when the whole world speaks about utility on NFTs i say have you tried Splinterlands?
you want to collect them?
you want to trade with them?
you want to play with them?
what ever your plan is Splinterlands will be there to fulfil your requirements
i don't know if there is any other game out there offering you so many options
i'm sincere with that
i believe in Splinterlands, i believe there are many new things to be implemented and i'm happy i'm on board
i'm inviting everybody to come and meet the Experience!

In the long run splinterlands has actually paid for itself and brought some enjoyment as well as community for me being part of a guild. My total investment I think is somewhere around $5,000 now but my decks value is now something like $25,000 and I'm looking to really ramp this up as we progress towards lands. Once lands get here I see this thing really taking off. I'm curious if some of the assets will be traded on the wax blockchain or if they will remain hive exclusive. I believe it would be business smart for splinterlands to go wax on those assets being there is such a massive userbase there.
you have no idea how much i anticipate 'lands' to be implemented and i do agree that will take the game to a different level
I don't think this post gives very solid analysis and mostly just reads to me like desperate onboarding for personal gain when you copy your referral link 8 times and provide no other link or citation. I don't mean to run down Splinterlands because its fine for what it is but I think you're demonstrating a lack of knowledge of what other NFTs are out there and acting like the one you're invested in has unlimited widespread utility.
Being able to be traded or collected isn't really a utility for the NFTs. It's a basic function for what makes them NFTs and even NFTs with no utility are able to be collected and traded. NFTs have a very bright future but the best path to that is through creating value not building unsubstantiated hype.
Just for the sake of clarity I think it's worth pointing out that even though it can be traded to other ecosystems, I have a splinterlands card in my WAX wallet and it has no utility there. The only utility currently is being used in the autobattler game. It's kind of a niche use case but the growth its enjoyed with just that is quite commendable and shouldn't be diluted with misinformation.
What is autobattler? any link or info.

Splinterlands has a slightly different format than traditional autobattlers but it's basically any game where you choose a formation and then the battle automatically happens without you controlling your units directly
I am wondering if after land will DEC overshoot it's peg value.

the only thing i'm certain about is that after land, splinterlands will be a whole different world

Yes, Tesla only showed that it does not understand what bitcoin is, and NTFs Splinterlands, for me, are also the best, in addition to the art being beautiful they have the usefulness of being playable.
I believe we are going to see crazy things the next years from splinterlands....i'm trying to make everybody understand there is so many things to come and they must get onboard
i dont know if they will eventually listen ...i'm just happy i'm on board
