Meet the Fabulous Frog Frens!

Xylon loves his unique and powerful name.

Yarrow's name evokes the imagery of a skilled archer.

She is a Range battler who is ready to strike with deadly precision from a distance!

Zander loves his strong and mysterious name.

What are the Battle Cards game rules?

Battle Cards is a Trading Card Game where your cards battle against other cards. You select your cards to battle against cards selected by the Computer.

Cards have three (3) types: Melee, Range and Magic. Melee cards only attack when they are in the first position. Range cards attack when they are Not in the first position. Magic cards attack from any position.

Select your cards and place them in order based on this knowledge of how they attack. The first card you select will be in the first position, second in second position, etc.

Cards have stats of Health, Armor, Speed and Attack. Health is lowered in attacks and a card with zero (0) Health is defeated and removed from battle. Armor is lowered in Melee and Range attacks before any Health is lowered. Magic lowers Health regardless of Armor. Speed determines which cards attack before others. The card with the highest Speed attacks first. If multiple cards have the same Speed then the next to attack is picked randomly. Attack is the strength of the card's attack and goes to reduce Armor and Health as explained above.

There we have it with some story and rules for you to read about.

Leave a reply if you'd like to be invited to play, or tag a fren (friend) that you think would like to learn about the game and possibly play (too)!

Feels good man

I find that the magic cards are the most powerful, but sometimes their attack will fail. I don't know the game mechanics that determine that. !BBH

$attackProbabilty = 99 - pow(($d1Speed - $speedmax), 2); // So as speed of attacker less than defender goes from 0 up, the attack odds go from 99 to 98, 95, 90, 83, 74, 63, 50, 35, 18, 10.
if ($attackProbabilty < 10) $attackProbabilty = 10; // Attack odds never go under 10%

Example: Your card has a speed of 4 and it is this card's turn to attack a card with a speed of 9. You have a 74% chance of actually attacking and a 26% change to fail at the attack.

Example: Your card has a speed of 3 and you are attacking a card with speed 3. You attack 99% of the time and fail 1% of the time.

Example: Your card has a speed of 4 and you are attacking a card with speed 3. You attack 100% of the time and never fail.

Example: Your card in the first position has a speed of 15 and it is being attacked by a card with speed of 3. The attack against you only lands successfully 10% of the time.

Thank you. I've been looking for posts about this game and how to play it. It seems more like Axie than Splinterlands :)

Thanks for the feedback!

I know OF Axie, but never played it or looked into it much. So Splinterlands is my point of reference and in relation to that Hive game, I usually say that PEPE Game is a very simple trading card game inspired by Splinterlands.

Axie also uses three cards in PVP and PVE battles. But you have to play it actively and choose which actions to take each round more like Gods Unchained. In Splinterlands, you just pick your cards and it will autoplay each round.

Thanks for that info!

PEPE Game is player vs computer and autoplays the 3 cards you pick against the cards for the Adventure and Level of computer battle you choose.

6 on 6 card battles coming.

Active mechanics may be coming too.

PvP is planned as well.

It's good that it has a PVE play. I wish Splinterlands will have the mode of play in the future as well.
