Thanks Mike! I hope you're staying safe in Italy!! The videos coming out of Italy and Greece are pretty hardcore!
I agree though, while Splinterlands does feel like a game that you're building up day after day, it's also important to rest from it (and everything else) occasionally.

Thanks Adam for the interest. I am in the North of Italy, Modena.
North of Italy has been bombed by hailstorms and the South by fires. Hailstorm with some insurances can be solved while fires, most of them made by humans (by purpose or not) are the worst as they dismantle very nice green areas, making a lot of houses to be evacuated and creating a lot of panic.
Mary's twin sister has to evacuate her home for a day as the fire got in front of her house but luckily she lives close to a member of the IT Parliament, so the fire got resolved quite quickly. There.
Oh wow! I had no idea about the hailstorms. We had a storm a few years ago where literally everyone had to make insurance claims for their roofs or cars. It was wild.
Your sister in law did very well in choosing a location to live, that's for sure.
Yes, Italy is now like an oxymoron: ice in the North, fire in the South.
And yeah, my sister in law got quite lucky of the area she found herself living in. Even if Calabria, the region where se lives and works (and where I am headed in the coming days for vacation to the parents in law) got quite roasted from fires. If I will get bored from sea and working, I will ask to join firemen 😂
